Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains how Phonemine LLC (“we”, “us”), a Colorado company, collects and uses information through assetdropstore.com, the KeyDrop staff app, KeyDrop key return boxes, and KeyDrop Hotel Alerts. Contact: support@phonemine.org · 303-865-0856.
1. What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, hotel or company, role, email and mobile number, when you reserve a box, sign up for alerts, or try the live demo.
- Reservation and payment records: number of boxes, amount and payment status. Payments are processed by PayPal; we do not receive or store card numbers.
- Device and activity data from key boxes: card identifiers (UIDs) read from returned key cards, times, counts, box status, battery and location of the box within the property. Card identifiers are not personal names.
- Housekeeping records: checklist results, notes and photos of items left behind in a room, and the text staff speak or type into the app.
- App data: push notification subscriptions and basic technical data (IP address, browser type).
2. How we use it
To run the service: match returned cards to rooms, send alerts to hotel staff, produce reports, take reservations and deposits, provide support, and keep the service secure. We use AI services to describe photos of left-behind items and to turn staff voice reports into checklist results.
3. Hotel data
Information about a hotel’s rooms, stays and guests belongs to that hotel. We process it only on the hotel’s behalf and to provide the service. A hotel decides whether and how its staff contact guests about items left behind.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run KeyDrop (for example Amazon Web Services for hosting and messaging, and PayPal for payments), when the law requires it, or with your consent. We do not sell personal information.
Text messaging. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only exception is the messaging and phone carriers and service providers we use to deliver the messages you asked for (for example, Amazon Web Services).
5. KeyDrop Hotel Alerts (text messages)
If you give your mobile number and check the text message box on our KeyDrop Hotel Alerts page, we use your number to send the alerts described there: subscription confirmations; guest checkout notices when keys are returned (all keys, some keys or the last key; a card not matched to a room; keys not yet returned near checkout time); left-item notices; key box status and security alerts (wrong item in the box, box nearly full, full or emptied, low battery, offline or back online, tilted or opened without authorization); and monthly summaries. Text alerts are optional and are not a condition of any purchase or service. We keep a record of your consent (time, IP address and the consent text you agreed to). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
6. How long we keep it
Photos of left-behind items are deleted automatically after 30 days. Demo data is deleted within a few days. Consent records are kept while you are subscribed and for up to 5 years after, as carriers may require. Other records are kept while the hotel uses the service and as needed for accounting and legal purposes.
7. Security
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing support@phonemine.org. You can stop text alerts at any time by replying STOP.
9. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date.
